Body tracking.Smaller on purpose.

We’re building a compact VR body tracking system first and foremost for VRChat. Eight small trackers on your limbs, one waist core, a dongle and a lot of work between them.

It will exist. When? We’re working on it. Probably soon.

Can you guess the size?

For VRChat

Smaller. Lighter. More accurate. Longer-running.

We’re building MicroVR first and foremost for VRChat. It’s the best place for full tracking, because your whole body becomes part of presence, movement and communication.

VRChat first. Everything else later.

The project

Eight small trackers. One waist block. One dongle in your PC.

Small modules on straps go on your limbs, with a waist core tying the tracking together. We want you to stop noticing the set as soon as you enter VR.

Fair questions

What can we say right now?

01

When?

When it’s ready. We want it soon, too.

02

How much?

We don’t know yet.

03

What does it work with?

Meta Quest first: it’s what we test every day, so it comes first.

04

What about other headsets?

They’ll come later. First we take one path, then the branches.

05

Inductive tracking?

Definitely. It’s already in the plan; details come later.

06

What does it look like?

Eight pieces on the limbs, a waist block, and all of it smaller than you expect.

And yes

There will be inductive tracking.

We’re exploring a physical reference that will complement inertial tracking. That sentence is enough for now.

Stay tuned. Keep thinking.
